Marilyn Scholefield Villante passed away on March 21, 2025. She was born August 19, 1940. She attend SUNY Cortland, and was a Phys Ed teacher and taught 5th grade at Chenango Forks. She married Francis Villante. Marilyn lived in Greene, New York almost her entire life. She loved selling real estate there and enjoyed gardening, researching genealogy, traveling, and most of all her beloved grandchildren. She moved to Charleston, South Carolina to be close to her daughter in 2022 after her husband passed. Marilyn is survived by her son Michael Villante, daughter Michele Villante, grandchildren Lydia Howard, Hailey Howard, Samantha Villante, and Nickolas Villante, daughter-in-law Tara Villante, her sister Shirley Barton, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Marilyn loved her many friends and neighbors in Greene and Charleston. She enjoyed exploring her new city. Marilyn requested no memorial service, but will truly be missed.
