Luther "Lucky" Lloyd Cook

A memorial service will be held on Friday July 21, 2023 on his birthday, in the chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home at 1pm. The family will receive guests from 12:00 until service time.

Lloyd affectionately known as Lucky, was preceded in death by his wife Roberta May Cook and his daughter, Cindy Lee Cook.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving family; eight children, Wade Cook (Diane), Linda Cook Cooper, Brenda Cook, Todd Cook, Bradley Cook, Gary Cook (Kim), Sally Cook White, Pamela Cook-Smith (John); eight grandchildren, one grand-dog; eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lloyd lived life to the fullest, loved playing pool at the local pub on 61 where he made amazing friends and was treated like family. He always supported and provided for his family, working numerous jobs across the United States. He never met a stranger and loved sharing stories over a good beer. He loved to dance and was always the life of the party. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
