Lisa Elaine Singletary James

Lisa was born in July 1975 in Charleston, SC, to Marion and Elaine Singletary. She attended Ferndale Baptist Church School and North Charleston High School, and was a member of Advent Lutheran Church. Lisa had a deep love for her family and friends, and found great joy in outdoor activities such as camping, riding four-wheelers, fishing, and singing karaoke by her pool.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Earl James; daughter, Taylor Martin (Parker Collins); mother, Elaine Singletary; brother, David Singletary (Malissa); step-son, Ethan James; step-daughter, Davin James; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her beloved fur baby, Honey.

She is preceded in death by her father, Marion Singletary; grandparents Otto Singletary and Margaret Singletary Peagler (Seaby); as well as P.A., and Christine Cole.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of MUSC Cancer Center, Duke University Hospital, and Crescent Hospice for their compassionate care during Lisa’s illness.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Advent Lutheran Church at 4900 O’Hear Ave. Suite 100, North Charleston, SC 29405.

A visitation will be held for Lisa on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 5pm to 7pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a chapel service at 11am on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Lisa will be laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Park thereafter.
