

Jean Taylor Westfall, 92, of Goose Creek, SC, a retired inspector in the clothing industry, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020. She is in her eternal home due to her faith and trust in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Jean was born in Broxton, GA on June 3, 1928 to the late William Pridgen and Blanche Rish Pridgen. She was the 8th child of 10 siblings and is survived by younger brother Russell Pridgen of Winterhaven, FL.
Jean was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Goose Creek and the "Sunshine" ladies class. Our family very much appreciates the love and support from her church family.
Jean is also survived by daughters, Wynette Miller and Brenda Dyson both of Goose Creek, SC; sons, Andy Taylor and wife Deborah of McClellanville, SC and Craig Taylor and wife Karen of Goose Creek, SC; grandchildren; Kevin Ray and wife Esther of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Renee Alderman of Summerville, SC, Drew Taylor and wife Kindra of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Jamie Taylor of Goose Creek, SC and Aaron Taylor of Summerville, SC; great grandchildren, Courtney Sullivan and husband Corey of Buford, GA, Evan Hawkins and wife Kaitlyn of Lexington, SC, Trace Turner and wife Makayla of Sumter, SC and Kaeden and Kingston Taylor, Mt. Pleasant, SC; great great grandchildren, Dainton, Gunderson and Elsa Sullivan and Charleigh Hawkins; 3 step-daughters, Bonnie Roher of Wrangell, AK , Debbie Scheible of Santa Maria, CA. and Rana Byrd of Carriere, MS, 1 step-son, Charles Westfall. She has many beloved nieces and nephews from her large extended families (Pridgens and Taylors) and several step grandchildren from blended families.
She was a loving wife, mom, and grandmother. All who knew her thought a lot of her, and we will miss her greatly.
The family invites guests to Jean's visitation from 11:00AM until 12:00PM on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. 843-797-2222. The funeral service will follow immediately in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 Noon.
