James “Jim” E. King, Jr., 79, of Summerville, a retired boiler maker and husband of Debra Blanton King, died March 17, 2021 at a local hospital.

Jim was born on December 12, 1941 in North Charleston, SC to the late Dorothy Jordan King and James Ernest King Sr.

Surviving are his wife, Debra King; son, Alex King; daughter, Denise King and 5 grandchildren.

In heaven, he now joins his parents and late daughter, Cathy Mindel.
