Imogene T Smith

Jean was born in Jacksonville, AL to the late Homer and Myrtie Turner.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jesse Wayne Smith, of 63 years. Her brothers; Charles Turner, Oscar Turner, Horace Turner, James Turner and Bob Turner.

Surviving are two daughters: Vicky Dukes(Daniel) and Karen Reeves(Chip); Grandchildren: Jarrett Sechrist ( Russell), Chase Reeves (Tori), Ashlyn Gonzalez (Greg), Jordan Dukes (fiance' Alex). Great-grandchildren: Giavanna, Caleb, Andrew, James. Her brother, Paul Turner and a sister, Ruby Anderson, both of Jacksonville, AL.

Jean loved the Lord and always put others before herself. She was a loving wife, mother, sister , aunt and loving grandmother (Ninny). She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, and taking care of her family.

A Visitation Service will be held April 12, 2022 from 1pm-2pm at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston, SC 29406. A Celebration of Life will be held following from 2-3pm in the chapel. Burial to follow at 3pm at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
