Helen D Brantley

Helen M (Dove) Brantley, 87, went to be with the Lord, October 20, 2016. Helen M (Dove) Brantley was born on October 22, 1928 in Tignal, Georgia , daughter of the late Willard and Lilly (Andrews) Dove. Helen worked 30+ years at several companies, retiring from Cummins, Inc., has an diesel engine builder. After retirement, she enjoyed staying at home and being surrounded by her family. She was loved by her family and friends. We all will miss her sense of humor and her feisty spirit! Helen was preceded in death by her late husband, Richard Brantley and her only son, Jerry Higgins. She is survived by her daughter-in-law: Linda Higgins ; three grandchildren: Tammy Harris (Eddie) of Summerville ; Crissy Higgins and Jennifer Higgins, both of North Charleston; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. To celebrate the life of Helen, her family and close friends will gather together for a grave side service at the Carolina Memorial Cemetery on October 28th at 12:00 pm.
