Evelyn Huggins

Evelyn Huggins entered into eternal rest Sunday February 4, 2018, at home. Evelyn was born in Horry County, South Carolina on November 22, 1926 to the late Tillman and Julia Edwards. She loved to garden, quilt, and can. She also enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She leaves behind Billy Huggins, Carolyn Doyle, Wendell Huggins, Glenn Huggins (Karen), and Jackie Canaday (Rodney), 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, Jack Huggins, her brothers, Harry Edwards, Clarence Edwards, Hilton Edwards, and Lavern Edwards. Her sisters, Ruth Collins, and Marie Hardwick. Her grandsons, Joshua Canaday and Paul Doyle.

Services will be held on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at Carolina Memorial Funerals and Cremations, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston, SC 29406. Visitation will be from 1 PM to 2 PM followed by the Funeral Service at 2 PM. Internment at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery will immediately follow the service.
