Eustacia Padlan

The relatives and friends of Eustacia Padlan are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 30, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday night at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 7113 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston, SC 29406, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

She was born March 29, 1926, in San Carlos, Philippines, the daughter of the late Faustina Aquino and Lauro Rovillos. She married Siegfredo Padlan in 1950. She worked at MUSC as a ward clerk, at The Oriental Cuisine, and was a consummate homemaker. She was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Goose Creek, the Goose Creek Pangasinan Group, and a Filipino Catholic prayer group. Hobbies included gardening, cooking, bowling, mahjong, and word search puzzles. She most loved being with family and friends.

She is survived by son: Jon Padlan (Bambi†) of Goose Creek, SC; daughters: Estela Padlan of Goose Creek, SC, Brenda Wilson (Cliff) of North Charleston, SC, and Alison Padlan-Malm (Thomas) of Summerville, SC; grandchildren: Phillip Padlan, Southhaven, MS, Leah Padlan, Goose Creek, SC, Jesse Wilson, Hanahan, SC, Matthew Wilson, Summerville, SC, Michaela Capriola, Summerville, SC, Stephen Gillette, Long Key, FL, Hubert Saladino, Astoria, NY, and Lloyd Saladino, Goose Creek, SC; great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Taylor, Darian, Cody, Ayden, Ellis, Parker, Oliver, Charley, Joey, Aidan, Quincy, and Orin; great-great-grandchildren: Asher, Brynlee, Ensley, and James.
