Esther Ruth Collins Norris of Edisto Island, widow of John Robert Norris joined the eternal holy spirit on July 1, 2014. Family and friends may visit in her honor Sunday July 6, 2014 between 4 and 7 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston. Her funeral service and burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park on Monday July 7, 2014 at 10 a.m. Esther was born in Marion, SC on May 16, 1925 and graduated from Aynor High School in 1943. She loved her family dearly and raised two sons, the late David Glenn Norris of Augusta, GA and Nathan McQuay Norris of Edisto Island. Her immeasurable faith sustained her for 89 years.We thank God for her loving, unselfish manner and for all the blessings she shared with us all.
