Doris Louise Singleton

Doris Louise Singleton, 78, of North Charleston, wife of George W. Singleton, entered into eternal rest Wednesday May 23, 2018. The relatives and friends of Doris Singleton are invited to attend her funeral services on Saturday May 26, 2018 at 2 pm at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME chapel, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday May 25, from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.

Doris was born in Chattanooga, TN, a daughter of the late David Lee Henry and Iva Louise Thacker Henry. She enjoyed being in her yard, birds, camping in their 5th wheel and square dancing. Doris was an active member of Grace Alliance Church. She was a retail manager for the Sears Roebuck company, retiring with 35 years service.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, George W. Singleton, sons: Douglas W. Singleton (Viki) and William "Billy" L. Miller III (Debbie), 2 daughters: Teresa M. Singleton (Jerry) and Michelle L. Miller (Al), 6 grandchildren: David, Max and Jack Singleton, Trae and Berkley Williams and Jeremy and Joshua Miller, 1 great grandchild Ben Stark,3 sisters: Lee Verne Miller (Glen), Carolyn Lynn Jackson (John) and Dale Russell (Jimmy).
