Doris was born September 29, 1932 in Charleston, SC, to Edward and Mildred Crosby.
Doris is survived by her daughter Terry Driggers and son in law Ben Driggers; her grandchildren John Wilson; Thomas Wilson; Aaron Ayers; Kayla Ayers; Benji Driggers; and William Driggers, as well as her great grandchildren Connie Kabler; Patrick Pringle; John Wilson; Tyler Wilson; Elijah Wilson; Sheila Wilson; Ben Driggers; Devon Driggers; Ciara Driggers; Sebastian Driggers; William Driggers Jr. and Christian Driggers.
Doris is preceded in death by her father Edward Crosby, her mother Mildred Crosby, her husband Cecil L. Ayers, her daughter Sheila Williams, her son Lonnie Ayers and her grandson Elie Wilson.
Doris was a house wife. Doris spent all of her life taking care and spending time with her family. Doris also loved to do word search puzzles, playing card games like Gin Rummy, watching baseball, playing domino's, going to church. Doris was a master of making biscuits.
She will be forever loved and missed by so many.
A Visitation will be held Friday January 7, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. The Celebration of Life Service will follow from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in the Chapel. The Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
