Dianne Hancock

Dianne was born March 18,1947 to the late Ruth and Punky Canady.

Predeceased by her husband of 53 years, William Hancock Jr.

She is survived by her children Theresa Moody (Buck), Billy Hancock (Sarah); brother Jim Canady, sisters Mary Canady and Ginny Canady; grandchildren Pennie, Elizabeth, Katie, Matthew, and Ella James; great grandchildren Marlee, Lilly, McCoy and Maisie; and nieces Tara and Jillian.

Dianne graduated from Summerville High School in 1965 and further went on to get a business degree. She worked at the Navy Yard before she dedicated her life to raising her children. She loved animals of every kind, Elvis Presley music, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She loved praising the Lord and was a member of First Southern Methodist Church.

A Visitation will be held at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home located at 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston on Tuesday December 17th, 2024 from 11AM to 12PM, with a Service to follow from 12PM to 1PM and burial to follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pet Helpers Adoption Center.
