Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral services, Wednesday August 29, 2018 at 11 AM at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friend 1 hour prior to the service at 10 AM. Burial will immediately follow the Funeral Service at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions can be made to Victory Baptist Church, 335 Woodland Shores Rd. Charleston, SC 29412.
Claudia was born, May 26, 1922 in North Charleston, SC, the daughter of the late Jefferson Davis and Martha Lorenda Brock. She graduated from North Charleston High School. She retired after 20 years as a weaver at Garco in North Charleston. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church on James Island, SC.
She is survived by her son, Roy David Smoak Jr. (Sandra) of Goose Creek, SC, two daughters: Evelyn Fuhr (the late Ken) of Irmo, SC, Nancy Brock (Chip) or Roundo, SC, grandson Jayson McKnight (Robin) or Moncks Corner, SC, two stepdaughters; Ursula Spires of Lexington, SC, and Elizabeth Rusch (Jerry) or Summerville, SC, and a deceased step-son, James W. Wyndham, 19 grandchildren 32 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
