Mrs. Christina G Flowers

Christy was born August 2, 1962 in Camp Lejeune, NC to Aubrey G. & Virginia M. Dalton and enjoyed traveling from NC to TN to SC to VA because of her Father’s Marine Corps career. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and loved reading, watching movies, plays and the mountains. Christy’s joy was her daughter and granddaughter. She enjoyed her career at MUSC and formerly of Piggly Wiggly Carolina. She was a sweet, sweet soul. Loving sister, doting mother and “Nana”. She loved everyone and had a huge giving heart.

Christy is survived by her husband, Bryan E. Flowers; her daughter, Rebecca (Mike) Flowers; her granddaughter, Sophia G. Bryar, all of Goose Creek, SC; her Father, Aubrey G. Dalton of Summerville, SC; her sister, Marcy L. Mayden of Goose Creek; her sister-in-law Julie Grasty of Goose Creek; nephew Bubba Grasty of Goose Creek; her sister-in-law Robin Scott of Goose Creek;her aunt Marylyn and uncle Sam Miller of Dunlap, TN; her aunt Marty and uncle Dennis of Beaufort, SC; uncle Tommy Huddleston of Sevierville, TN; as well as numerous cousins in SC, TN, GA, and TX. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Virginia M. Dalton; her Father & Mother in-law Earl & Kaye Flowers; her brother-in-law, Robert “Rob” Mayden; her paternal grandparents, John E. & Ruth Anna Dalton; her maternal grandparents, Oliver T. & Mary Evelyn Huddleston; her great-grandmother, Emma Wallace; uncle DeWitt Dalton, aunt Rachel Langenback, uncle Ralph “Buster” Huddleston and aunt Diane Huddleston.

Family and friends may visit at Carolina Funeral Home on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be at Carolina Memorial Gardens on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
