Catherine was born April 13, 1931 to the late Bertha Hoff, Smith and Ligouri A Smith in Hanover. Pennsylvania.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Stafford.
She is survived by six children: Memerley Catherine McElheney, William Mark Stafford
and wife Laurie, David Allen Stafford and wife Kim, Joseph Ryan Stafford and wife Terry, Malinda Darlene Upchurch, and Gregory Alan Stafford.; also 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Catherine was a member of Remount Baptist Church and was a devoted servant of God. She loved her children, husband and home and spending time with them.
A Visitation will be held on December 29, 2023 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM with interment to follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
