Calvin Carroll Parris

Calvin was born on May 1, 1952, to the late Grover Carroll Parris and Margaret Oswald Parris in Charleston, SC.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Dianne Parris, his son, Michael Parris (Angie), his daughter, Susan Brown (Chad), his grandchildren Tristan Tyler Brown, Austin Lee Parris, Dylan Michael Parris, and Alyssa Taylor Brown, his brother Winfred Parris, and his sister Barbara May.

He is proceeded in death by his father Grover Carroll Parris and mother Margaret Oswald Parris.

Calvin is a graduate of Bonds-Wilson High School. He obtained a degree as an X-Ray technologist and was employed by Roper Hospital in his earlier years. He enjoyed attending hockey games and occasionally traveling. He had a deep passion for movies and wildlife shows and loved engaging in discussions about them.

A visitation at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home for Calvin will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Celebration of Life Service at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel will occur Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
