Audrey McElveen

Audrey was born on June 20, 1941, to William Edward Stone and Dorothy Smith Stone. Audrey was a retired vendor and homemaker. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially loved going on trips with her family. She loved butterflies and hummingbirds as well. Audrey was very loved by friends and family. She had a beautiful smile and kind heart.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Stone, her husband, Ernest Dozier McElveen, brother, Billy Stone, sister, Jo Mixon, and son-in-law Michael Mahoney. She is survived by her two daughters; Theresa Litchford and Peggy Mahoney, and her two sons; Ernie McElveen and Paul McElveen. She is also survived by five (5) grandchildren; Lori Mercer (Alex), Paula Teal, Dale Litchford (Jessica), Stephanie Slagle (Michael), Sean Litchford. Eight (8) great-grandchildren, and one (1) great-great grandson. Also, Audrey is survived by her sister Patty Beach and brother, Robert E. "Gene" Stone.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing service that will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 11:30AM until 12:30PM at Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremation located at 7713 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. The funeral service will follow immediately after at 12:30. Interment will be at Carolina Memorial Park.
