Annette Elaine Vinson

Annette was predeceased by her much-loved husband of 49 years, Johnnie Vinson. They were married in 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland. She is survived by sons Michael Vinson (Barbara Griffin) of Seabrook Island, SC and Stephen Vinson (Francesca Pataro) of Aiken, SC., former daughter-in-law Laura Black, grandchildren John, Keelan, Aili, and Mabry; her beloved nieces Cary, Marylou and Sandy and their families.

She was born in South Portland, Maine in 1924. Over the course of her husband Johnnie’s Navy career, she lived in Maryland, Hawaii, California, Florida, Virginia, Rhode Island, New York, Maine and Italy, residing in Charleston South Carolina since the early 1960’s.

She enjoyed her church, Grace United Methodist, entertaining, music, reading, old movies, Clemson football and any many social activities. Annette volunteered with the American Red Cross Gray Ladies, Grace United Methodist Church Acts of Grace programs and Meals on Wheels.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
