It is with great sadness that the family of Louis “Roy” Fisher announce his passing on August 3, 2021 at his home in North Battleford, SK.
Roy was born on February 22, 1952 in Prince Albert, SK. Chosen son of Willimina (Baginski) and William Gabriel Fisher, Roy was raised in parts of both Alberta and Saskatchewan. He often relayed stories of his childhood and particularly spoke of his family. Roy went on to become a general labourer and worked in the oil fields and as a truck driver.
Roy is survived by his mother, Willimina “Velma”, cousins and loving companion Tracy Rosnes and her son Spencer. He was predeceased by his father, Bill.
There will be a private graveside service at a later date in Duck Lake Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Cemetery where his cremated remains will be interred with his father, Bill. Donations can be made honouring his memory to the BUH Hospital Foundation.
