I met Brian while working as a compliance officer with SLGA.  Brian would always greet you with his big smile and a very warm reception. 
It was pleasure working with you Brian. 
When I went to the DDC to gamble after I retired he would greet me with the same warm reception with his big smile and wished me luck.  
He was very proud to tell me that he was going to have his first baby. 
I will miss your presence at the casino but I'm sure you will be there in spirit.

Brian was a great guy. I am his neighbour and I am glad to have known him. He always helped out and always had a big smile on his face. He was a hardworking man and looked out for the people around him. Rest in peace my brother. May we meet again.

There are no words to describe how much of a shock it was to learn that you had passed, Brian. We worked together for the past 15 years and all of our interactions were made up of weird jokes that made no sense yet we laughed like it was the funniest thing ever said. And then you would come into the staff room with your giant lunches and say that you needed to eat it all so you could be “strong like bull”. And then you met your wife and you were just so happy and then you had a baby! You were even more happy. As soon as she was born you showed everyone her pictures and we could all see just how full of pride and love you were for your daughter. The world truly lost a great warrior in you, my friend. You were never in a bad mood, you always had a smile on your face and you were the epitome of integrity and goodwill. Till we meet again my friend. 🦬

To the Eigenmann family,

I am so sorry to hear the news of Brian's passing.  My name is Donnie Davidsen and I had the pleasure of teaching Brian at E. D. Feehan High School.  I also coached Brian football both as an assistant coach and as a head coach.  Although I had not been in contact with Brian since high school, I have many fond memories of him.

On the football field, I will remember Brian as a physical presence. He dominated at his position, but he also was skillful, intelligent and had a love and passion for the game.  Brian was a great teammate!  One of his best qualities was his quiet leadership.   Integrity is a word that comes to mind.  He was a captain of team in his grade 12 year.   He didn't say many words, but his positive actions and superior play spoke loudly and clearly.  His smile, his joy, his humor and his infectious laugh made the game fun.  

As much as Brian was a tough competitor on the football field,  He had a gentle old soul away from the field.   He was a soft spoken, respectful and joyful student who brought happiness to everyone he met.  

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss.  Brian and the Eigenmann family is in my thoughts, my prayers and my heart.

Brian and I bonded and became friends once he found out who my moshom was. His mom used to perm my moshoms hair. I'd joke with him when he would wear plaid long sleeves, I'd ask if he was trying to stay with SIGA as long as my moshom did, and if he was gonna get the classic "Ron Pete" hair do. He always chuckled at that one. It was never a joke though, I really thought he would retire with SIGA. Brian loved his job at the casino and took pride in everything he did and said. He always checked in on you.
Until next 'Little Pine', I hope you greet me on the otherside. The good ones always go too soon.

I am deeply saddened by Brian’s passing. I haven’t talked to Brian in some time but I had the pleasure of coaching him for two seasons of Sr. Boys Basketball at ED Feehan High School. I have so many fond memories of that team, and Brian in particular. He was a great leader on the floor, in the locker room, and always worked hard between the lines. If you know Brian, well you knew he could hoop. He battled hard in the paint, and brought much needed toughness and character to the squad.; and don’t forget the points…we needed his scoring touch, night in and night out - which he delivered. 

However, that being said, what I loved most about Brian was his character and charisma. Brian was a kind and gentle soul who loved to laugh and joke around with his teammates, and coaches.  He was so fun to be around, and to play with or against; be it morning ball, pickup or men’s league. It was always great running into Brian at the gym, when we could catch up and rehash old times, and share one more laugh together.  

I would like to offer my sincerest condolences to Brain’s family, and close friends. To his wife and children, his close teammates/friends Kenny and Marvin, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Clearly, all of our lives have been enriched by Brian. You will be missed big fella!  The Big E.!  Eigenstein!

Some sad news to hear about today. Brian used to work for me back when I worked at Superstore, he had a great work ethic. As I got to know Brian, we started to become good friends and hung out quite often. As the years went by and each of our lives grew busier with starting our families, we lost touch with one another. I’m sad to hear of Brian’s passing. To Brian’s family and friends, I’m sorry for this loss. Until we meet again Brian. 😢🙏

Brian was one of the finest young men I have met.  A big strong boy, humble, respectful always willing to lend a helping hand. Brian occasionally would golf with us old guys. That being his dad Emil and me. When we met at the course the first thing he did was show us his newest pictures of his pretty young daughter.  He was very proud. No scores were kept in our golf games.  It was all about catching up,       
 having lots of laughs and attempting not to lose too many golf balls.  Our deepest sympathies to all of Brian's family

I am very saddened to hear about Brian's passing. When I heard the news I thought of his big smile, his "character"  and his leadership by example. The coaches called him "Eigenstein" because he was such a smart player and so coachable. I am sure he touched many lives, and will be missed dearly. I Had known Brian over 15 years at DDC.Brian personality was great.He was so proud as a new father showing pics of his daughter.If you needed help,Brian would help you in a heart beat.You don't see alot of men who have a great personality who when they meet you,just can light up the room.I will miss you Brian.

Brian was the strongest and even carried 2 backpacks!

In our early 20s, Bian  worked up north with me doing geophysics.

My memory of Brian was was working with him at the Dakota Dunes Casino. As the Guest Services Manager before my retirement in 2018, I would often have discussions with Brian over the years I was at the DDC. He was a gentleman. He was always happy. He was always smiling. Brian would always light up the security office, the employee cafeteria, and the gaming floor. He lite up every room he entered. His ability in the security department was absolutely perfection. He handled every wonderful happening (prize witnessing) and/or a negative security issue with tremendous leadership.  Brian will be missed. My personal thoughts, prayers, condolences, and sympathies are extended to all his family and friends at this time. 

Brian always had the biggest smile in the casino, I don’t think this guy ever had a bad day. He was truly a great friend and a great coworker indeed. He will be missed very much by many family & friends. Until we meet again RIP Brian

He genuinely cared about people.  I truly valued his friendship.  Even after I left the casino, when I saw him, it was like time had not passed.

I remember Brian coming over to our place.   Cooking meat on the bbq in our backyard.  Brian always had a huge smile and the biggest positive prescience  wherever he went.

 I was just talking to you not that long ago! Talking about ur mom and your lil blessing, life things and of course slot machines! 💔 you had that night your everyday smile, ur jokes, your contagious laugh. I'll always remember when we were elementary age. You, my brother and me just fooln around and   cruising  confed mall , laughing  ,hide and seekn it for hours and not a care in the world just being  kids. While my kunsi\Aunt Doris would be getting her hair done by ur mom! I got to grow up knowing you ...then we moved away. All of a sudden I ended up working with you years later as Young adults..we was the coolest 95's lol well we were part of the happiest ..your energy/vibe was also contagious. This all seemed so quick ! My heart hurts for all of ur loved ones  My friend I'm glad we crossed paths not once but twice 🙏🏾 may you forever rest in paradise Brian ...give my mom and auntys a hug for me .
