Ruth and Russell Hilton were united in marriage on February 3, 1952 in Topeka, Kansas and spent many loving years together until his passing in April of 2006. Ruth was a homemaker for all of her life and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, sewing, gardening and was very active in her church at Living Faith. She was a great mother and wife and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Proceeding her in death are her husband, Russell Hilton; parents, Robert and Florence Ferris along with numerous brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Timothy Hilton and wife Melanie of South Glenn, Illinois, Patrick Hilton and wife DeBrena of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mary Simon and husband Howard of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brothers, Robert Ferris, Elbert Ferris, Eldon Ray Ferris; grandchildren Daniel Hilton, Haylee Hilton, Lindon Hilton, Brice Hilton, Katharine Hilton, Rebekah Simon and Leah Simon; great grandchildren, Kayleb Hilton, Paisley Hilton, Russell Hilton and Lacey Hilton along with numerous other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held to celebrate the life of Ruth on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 10:00 AM with Interment following at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy Milligan officiating and Lindon Hilton, Brice Hilton, Daniel Hilton, Rebekah Simon, Don Blanton and Jason Milligan serving as Pallbearers. Family will receive friends at the Funeral home on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Living Faith Church 405-863-8909.
