She was born on November 5, 1929 in Woodward, OK to the late John and Emilia Brenner. Ramona graduated from Woodward High in 1947 where she was very involved in the Glee Club, various choirs, band, pep club, and basketball. She met Ken Reynolds in high school and they married in 1948.
They moved to Norman in 1954. Ramona's primary profession was her family and home. Ramona and Ken had seven children. She raised her family, worked the garden and tended to her husband. Much of her time was spent taking care of her home and volunteering at church. For years she played the pipe organ at St. Joseph Catholic Church and helped operate the Church Thrift Shop. Once the children were older she began working as a secretary and then at the bank. Later she became involved in Altrusa International Foundation, which is dedicated to improving economic well-being and quality of life through a commitment to community services and literacy, eventually becoming the local president. She enjoyed many things but most notably gardening, canning, crocheting, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and playing cards. As the years went by she was lovingly by the side of her husband of 62 years until his death in 2010.
Ramona was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Patrick, Stephen and Mathew; and grandson Jared Reynolds.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Macy Reynolds of Norman, daughter Nichelle Tuman and husband Rick of Texas, daughter Debbie Pryor of Illinois, son Greg Reynolds of Florida, daughter Paula Picek and husband Nick of Norman; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Dolores Borton of Indiana.
