She was born November 4, 1933, to Monroe and Gertrude Ice in Clarksburg, WV.
Mrs. Wells was many things in her life from Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher and she owned her own café. The best job she did was that of a mother to her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil of the home; daughter, Elizabeth Walker of Lexington; her sister, Eileen Linko of Parkersburg, WV; nine grandchildren, Dawn Whorton, Stephen Walker II, Danny Seales, Gene Walker, Chris Seales, Vanessa Taylor, Brian Walker, Stephanie Whorton and Jacob Walker; and 19 great-grandchildren
