Orlena Williams

Orlena was a 1948 graduate of Putnam City High School. After graduation, she lived in California for a short time, then returned to Oklahoma and attended business school. Before her marriage, she worked in the accounting deptartment of Brown's Department store while living in a small apartment in Oklahoma City. Upon her marriage to Odell Williams, she was blessed to gain a daughter, Linda. Orlena and Odell were married on February 14, 1953. They had two daughters, Gail and Judy.

Orlena lived most of her life in the Newalla area, but also lived briefly in Oklahoma City and Norman. She had been residing in Shawnee at the time of her death. Orlena was a life-long member of the Church of Christ.

Orlena is survived by Linda, her husband Leonard; grandchildren, Michelle, Len, and Donald; great-grandchildren, Tabitha, Mallori, Megan, and Buddy, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her her daughter, Gail, her husband Stan, and granddaughter Amy; her daughter, Judy and granddaughters, Lavonna and Stephanie, and great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Cavan, and Cara Shea; her brothers James and Pat, five nieces and five nephews.

Orlena was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sisters, Jerene, Anita and Wilma; and her brother, Sherman; three nieces and one nephew.
