She was born January 12, 1926 in McClain County to John Elaris and Martha M. (Davis) Madden. On June 1, 1944 she married Merl Hill in El Paso, TX.
Naomi was an excellent homemaker. She loved to crochet afghans, quilt and work on crafts. She loved to fish especially at Lake Tenkiller; from catching them to cooking them for her family. Her family will miss her homemade rolls and cinnamon rolls. She had worked on putting engines together at Tinker during World War II. Naomi loved to garden and can vegetables and blessed others with her bounty.She also taught bible school and was a charter member of the Cookson Baptist Church. Cheering on her Dallas Cowboys, St. Louis Cardinals and anything OU related were among her favorite things but above all spending time with her family who will greatly miss her.
Survivors include her children: Merl M. Hill, Jr. and wife Martha of Moore, OK, Jackie L. Hill of Shawnee, Patricia E Meador and husband Dan of Del City, Dr. Billy W. Hill and wife LaVana of Checotah, OK; grandchildren Ronald A. Hill and spouse Beau Borchardt of Austin, TX, Deborah Pena and husband Joaquin of McCallen, TX, Wendy D. Massey and husband Billy of Shawnee, OK, Jacqueline M. Schmidt and husband Doug of Greeley, CO, Steven S. Bishop and wife Kacey of Sparks, OK, Teresa R. Propes and husband Colby of Greeley, CO, Trae Hill and wife Ann of Carrollton, TX, Sheila Boswell and husband Vince of Moore Desiree C. Vaughn and husband Edward of Newkirk, OK, Nicholas Z. Hill and wife Katelyn of Fort Worth, TX, and Danielle K. Koch and husband Jesse of Columbus, TX, ; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, sisters, brothers, and one great granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday May 20, 2016 at Primrose Funeral Service. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 21, 2016 at Primrose Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
