Michael Brian Evans

Born in Brookfield, Missouri on March 13, 1938, to Julius Evans and Vestal Gale Fowler Evans, he grew up in nearby New Cambria. Raised by his beloved grandparents he grew up a farm boy who loved to fish, spend time with friends, with one of whom Mike would build and race an old jalopy even driving it to the race track hoping it would make it home! A life of racing began.

Upon leaving high school he ventured to Central Kansas for Harvest, meeting Barbara Ross. They married in 1958 and just celebrated their 63rd anniversary in November.

She survives him as does daughter, Janet Evans Webb of Norman and Todd Evans of Como, Colorado. He leaves behind two grandsons, Jarryd Ferkin of Cottonwood, Arizona and Alexander Webb of Chillicothe, Missouri. Michael's life long joy of family and friends endures. His soul rests well in Heaven.

A private memorial service for the family is December 6, 2021 at Primrose Funeral Home in Norman, Oklahoma. He will be laid to rest in New Cambria, Missouri.
