Meghan Lyndsay Bowman

Meghan Lyndsay Bowman, a lifelong resident of Oklahoma, completed her final lap on earth on Sunday, March 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on Friday, October 13, 1989, she was the daughter of William “Bill” Lynn Gebur and Kelly Jo (Lancaster) Gebur.

Meghan earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and proudly served as a Special Agent with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations for over 10 years. Outside of her professional life, Meghan enjoyed listening to Christian and Country music, hiking, running, traveling, and spending cherished moments with friends and family. Her vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor would light up any room, and her goofy antics always brought smiles and laughter to those around her. Meghan will be remembered as a kind, fierce, and determined woman who touched many lives.

On January 14, 2012, Meghan married the love of her life, Benjamin Bowman, in Norman, Oklahoma. Together, they shared the joy of raising their two beloved sons, Landon Bradley Bowman and Hudson Bennett Bowman. Meghan was incredibly proud of her role as a wife and mother.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Eugene Gebur and Betty Gebur, as well as her beloved furbabies, Carson and Abby.

Meghan’s memory will be cherished by her husband, Ben Bowman, and their sons, Landon and Hudson, all of the home; her parents, Bill and Kelly Gebur of Norman, Oklahoma; her sisters, Desiree Gebur of Norman, Oklahoma, and Liz Williams and husband Caleb of Moore, Oklahoma; her grandparents, Eugene Jacobs and Elizabeth Jacobs; her nieces, Kaysten Bowman, Makayla Williams, and Isabella Williams; her nephews, Rylan Bowman, Weston Bowman, and Liam Gebur; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation for Meghan will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Choctaw Road Baptist Church, 14971 E Reno Ave, Choctaw, OK 73020, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 2301 E Indian Hills Rd., Norman, OK 73071.
