Lucille Arlene (Hawkins) Neer age 84 of Norman, Oklahoma went to heaven on May 27, 2019. She was very loved by many. She is proceeded in death by her parents, William Lee and Alvina Hawkins; fourteen of her siblings and her husbands, Louis Neer Sr. and Floyd Burns; daughters, Janice Hawkins and Carol Hickok.
Leaving behind her sons, Louis Neer Jr. and wife Maudie of Paulsvalley, James Harrison Jr. and wife Leann of Joy, Joseph Burns of Norman and son-in-law, Oris Hickok Sr. of Norman, her daughters Rosie Pool and husband Billy of Irene, Texas, Vina Foster and husband Richard, Betty Cooper and Husband Buddy, Louise Winn and Tammy Jenkins and husband Marcus all of Norman, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Lucille had a very rich life fulfilling her calling on earth of being an obedient child of God, wife, mother and grandmother. Lucille worked many years in nursing and volunteering at Cross Pointe Church and at the Mission. Lucille will be dearly missed by all those whose life she touched.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 10:00 am with Tom Gragg officiating. Interment will follow at Elmore City Cemetery in Elmore City. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 6-8 pm
