I meet Jim in the early 90’s in England while he was correlating engine systems at RAF Upper Heyford. I eventually retired from the USAF and was fortunate enough to work with Jim again at Tinker AFB before taking the job of correlation that Jim once performed. He was a great guy to work with as he was as sharp  as they come when it required engine test cell knowledge. Rest in peace my friend!

I had the honor of working with Jimmie during our time at Tinker AFB.  Together we stood up a computer network that provided email, file storage, print services and desktop support for the Propulsion Division.   His work ethic, commitment and integrity in performing his job was unmatched and served as a great example for his peers.   Rest in peace my friend.  

I'm glad to have had the opportunity to work with Jimmie when I started my career at Tinker AFB back in 1995.  He always had the AF's best interest at heart.  The AF mission and support of our weapons and service men and women were paramount to him. The smile on his face was inspiring. Rest easy my friend and thanks for everything!  

I met Jimmie about 15 years ago when he was working at Tinker AFB and I was at Wright-Patterson AFB.   We worked closely together and he was one of the nicest people I've met in my career.   No matter what challenge he faced, he was always so up-beat.  I was so sorry to hear of his passing.   My condolences and prayers go to his family and friends.   

Jim and Terry have been our next-door neighbors for nearly 15 years. Little did we know that when we bought our property the best part would be our neighbors.  Jim was always there to help unload and assemble a new piece of equipment, figure out what was wrong when something wasn’t running like it should, or just sitting on the back porch catching up on events. This proud Marine loved and served his country, was noble in every sense of the word as he battled cancer on a daily basis and would not let it dictate how he would live his life. He was a master with his hands, rebuilding numerous vehicles from a pile of rust to breathtaking mechanical marvels. He was kind, considerate and a favorite of our grandchildren. After obligatory hugs to us, they would run to the backyard to see if “Mr. Jim’s” shop door was open and run as fast as they could to see what new project he was working on. He always made time to take them on ATV, Jeep or 4-Wheeler rides. We will miss our dear friend, but will always cherish his friendship, help and impeccable character.
