I'm so sad to hear about Jerry passing away.
I met Jerry and Robin in Chandler, OK in the mid 70's. I thought he was the most obnoxious guy I ever met! But a few weeks later, we were all friends. The memories of sitting around that garage apartment singing to records-yes, LP's!! , of Journey, Led Zeppelin, and one record that I loved in particular was a recording of the gospel quartet that his dad was in. Harmonizing to "The Light House" was our favorite hymn of the night.
I got married and hadn't seen Jerry since the early 80's and in these times of instant information via the internet, I've searched for old friends and found a few. I'm just sorry my search for Jerry was too late.
I don't know any of the family, but my heart aches for you. Jerry was funny and always the life of the party. His wit and sense of humor was impecable.
I'm glad I knew him for just a glimpse of time in our lives.

I know you wouldn’t want to see

But it wasn’t you at all.

What it meant to lose you,

It’s something I can’t control
Just understand my brother,
When I see you in heaven, I’ll know I'll be whole.

Dearest Darlene, Kenny & family, we are thinking of you and praying for you.  We love you and wish you peace. A funny memory about Jerry I have was, when he would call out to mom & dad's and say hello "creapier than me". It always made me laugh. We love you.
