Jean married David Lee Russell who preceded her in death in 2015. They shared many years of love and happiness together and she always said how much she treasured being Dave’s wife and how he made her laugh constantly.
Jean loved her family, friends and neighbors, and the many dogs she and Dave shared throughout their years together. She was a wonderful cook and an active member of the Noble United Methodist Church. Jean loved bible study and her Christian connection with her beloved church family and her dear friend, Sandy.
Jean worked her entire life in administration for multiple companies but devoted most of her time to pampering Dave, caring for their dogs, and attending church. She enjoyed reading and frequenting the library, and if nothing else got done, her nails did. She loved her little house in Noble and said she always felt safe there due to the wonderful neighbors around her who helped and watched over her.
Jean is survived by her son, Damon Laird and wife Kathleen of Houston, Texas, Dave’s daughters, Robin Jolly and husband Steven of Sulphur, Oklahoma, Shannon Sharp and husband Donnie of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Shelly Russeff and husband Rich of Tacoma, Washington, as well as grandchildren Mackenzie Laird, Devin Laird and fiancé Laura Rezmer-Cooper, Bailey Laird, Tiffani Thomas and husband Aaron, Jantzen Miller and husband Shawn, McLane Jolly and wife Jess, Logan Sharp, Landon Sharp and fiancé Taylor Martin, Russell Lindsey and wife Maddison, Tawni Owens and husband Dereck, Brayden Elwood and husband Ty, as well as nine great grandchildren, all of whom affectionately called her Jeanie.
