Ica Ruth Lalicker, 99 of Norman met with the Lord, Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Ica was born to Earl and Ica LeCrone on January 13, 1924 in Vilas, Colorado. Ica attended Norman High School and on April 11, 1943 she married the love of her life, Frank M. Lalicker in Chandler, Oklahoma. Ica is known as the family's most dedicated fan to OU athletics, especially OU football. Growing up with an Uncle, "Freight Train" Ray LeCrone and brother David that played for OU, she would not miss a game. Until recently, she lived in the house her father built on Keith Street in Norman. Ica loved working outside with her plants and tropical garden all day. She truly had a green thumb. She cherished and always welcomed her grandchildren and great-grandkids, never missing one of their school activities or sports functions. Her life adventures were planned around family.
Ica is preceded in death by her spouse Frank M. Lalicker; parents, Earl and Ica LeCrone; siblings, Bud LeCrone, David LeCrone, J.R. LeCrone, Doyle Dee LeCrone, Earlene Williams, Delores Giles, and Rosella Hulsey; great- grand-daughter Ashley Dawn Johnson.
Ica is survived by daughters, LaDonna K. Moorad of Norman and her children, Preston S. Moorad (Angela), Deborah Moorad of Oklahoma City; Marian Noah and her children, Phillip Ray II, Angela Rhea of Norman, and Dustin Noah of Seattle, Washington; Priscilla Johnson (David) of Edmond, and their children, Keith Johnson (Dana) of Edmond, Scott A. Johnson (April) of Lexington. Ica also leaves behind 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at St. Luke's Methodist Church in Oklahoma City at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Keith King officiating. Burial will follow at Wellston Cemetery, Wellston Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the care of Primrose Funeral Service.
