Edith Frances Holeman, 98, of Norman, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2011 in Noble. She was born January 2, 1913 to Arthur Edmund and Nancy Lucy (Nichols) Wilkerson in the Denver Community, Cleveland County, Oklahoma. She was married to the love of her life Pete Holeman for 46 years until his death in 1980. Edith will always be remembered by her family as a wonderful cook and her famous Sunday dinners.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband Pete Holeman; two infant sons; parents; 3 brothers and 2 sisters; sons-in-law Charles Schneringer and J.R. Dabney; and daughter-in-law Gayle Holeman.
She is survived by son Jack Holeman; daughters Janette Schneringer, Sylvia Jennings and husband Earnest Lee, Gerry Dabney, Sherrie Autry and husband Marvin; 15 grandchildren; 25 and one on the way great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
