Donna Ford

NORMAN — Donna Sue (Jones) Ford was called home to be with the Lord on April 4, 2010. She was born on May 3, 1946 in Oklahoma City to Nora and Bennett Scott. She was raised by Nora and Melbourne Jones. Donna graduated from Southeast High School in Oklahoma City in 1964.

Donna married the love of her life, Richard Allen Ford on March 24, 1967, they were married for 43 years. While Richard was in the military, the couple lived in Weisbaden, West Germany but returned to Oklahoma to make their home in Norman where they lived for 38 years and raised two sons Brian and Doug Ford. Donna worked at Norman Regional Hospital for more than 30 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Nora and Melbourne Jones. Survivors include husband Richard Ford; son Brian Ford and his wife Amy of Ada, OK; son Doug Ford of Norman, OK; grandchildren Emily and Asher Ford of Ada; sister Bennie Booth and her husband John of Wichita, KS; nieces Daylene Strickland or Bettendorf, IA; Paula Guynn of Oxnard, CA; Kristi Gutierrez of Wichita, KS; Daniele Cuestes of Oceanside, CA; and nephews Jimmy and Scott Madole of Denver, CO.
