Dallas Lee Miller, 90, went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2024, in Noble, Oklahoma. He was born May 31, 1934, in Oilton, Oklahoma, to Josephine Harmon Meyers and was later adopted by Arthur “AB” Miller.
Dallas grew up in Sapulpa and later attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He went on to serve in the United States Army, where he held the rank of Second Lieutenant. Over the years, Dallas lived in various cities, including Midwest City and Del City, before finally settling in Noble.
Dallas had a passion for life and enjoyed many hobbies. He was an avid listener of jazz music, a skilled woodworker, and a proud member of the Oklahoma Model Train Club, where he shared his love of model trains and meticulous train tracks. He also enjoyed taking photographs, capturing moments of beauty that he treasured throughout his life. Most of all, Dallas cherished his time spent with his family, particularly his grandchildren, and found great joy in their company.
On March 27, 1959, Dallas married the love of his life, Marilyn Jean Miller, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Their union was one of deep love and lasting devotion. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with a daughter and grandchildren who will carry on his legacy.
Dallas was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur “AB” Miller and Josephine Harmon Meyers. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn Miller, of the home; daughter DeAnna Grace Bass and husband James E. Bass of Noble; LeAnn Arce of Toronto, Canada; grandchildren Megan Mascorro, Kyle Eldredge, and Kayla Watson; and great-grandchildren Zoey Mascorro, Hailey Mascorro, and Lydia Eldredge.
A funeral service for Dallas will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 North Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071.
Dallas will be laid to rest in Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
