Dale Lee Offutt

Dale was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, hunter, and camper. He also enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. He smoked meat and fried numerous pieces of fish for the annual “Wyatt-Offutt” family picnic.

Dale was a Korean War Veteran. He served in the Army from 1948 to 1952. After the Military, Dale became and Equipment Specialist at Tinker Air Force Base and retired after 37 years.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 65 years Mary Offutt, son Billy Dale Offutt, and siblings Thelma, Hester, Ava, and Evelyn.

Those left to cherish Dale’s memory are his children Lee Offutt, Rosemary Wilkinson (Jessie), Sharon Sharp (Keith), and Patty Offutt (Gary); grandchildren Richard Offutt (Heidi), Michael Wilkinson (Will), Julia Efford, Benjamin Sharp, and Mary Sue Sharp; great grandson Joseph Offutt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation for Dale will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 North Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service.
