Cynthia R. Morgan, born to Cathy D. Brown on November 4, 1975 in Chicago, ILL. She was the third of four children. She was raised in Norman, OK by Clyde and Cathy Brawner, Sr. Cynthia accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Seeker Church in Norman, OK. An avid learner she attended Norman High School in Norman, OK and continued her post-secondary education at the University of Oklahoma, in Norman, OK, as well as the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science.
As an adult Cynthia enjoyed many things including reading and cooking, but nothing could compare to the joy and fulfillment that she received from caring for those around her, most significantly her four children, Malisha, Kevin, Darius, and CJ. Her most recent and impactful career was at the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality in Oklahoma City, OK were she was employed for 18 years and most recently held the position of Environmental Programs Specialist.
Cynthia lived a fulfilled life, one full of love and protection for her children, family, and friends. She pushed her children to succeed and was very proud of the accomplishments of all of her children.
On Friday, February 24, 2023, Cynthia R. Morgan parted this life and began a new life with our Lord. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Ethel Robinson, her paternal grandmother Barbara Brawner as well as her three uncles Thomas Brawner, Bernard Brown, and Michael Brown. She leaves to mourn her parents, Clyde and Cathy Brawner, Sr., her daughter, Malisha, her three sons, Kevin, Darius, and CJ, her siblings Christine (Anton), Kimberly, LaKinyah, Angel, and J.R., her nieces Amaya, Serena, Shaylyn, Aiva and Erin, and her nephew Ayden, as well as, a number of close relatives and friends whose lives she impacted positively.
