Art died, December 26, 2022 at Broadway Living Center in Lexington. He was born August 7, 1944, in Downey California to Chester “Chet” Davis II and Elaine Tanksley Davis. Art married Patricia Chism Davis on June 3, 1978, in Ada Oklahoma.
Art was a longtime resident of Ada and Norman Oklahoma. He was an owner of A & P Home Electric and retired in March of 2022.
Art served in the Marine Corps stationed at Camp Pendleton, in San Diego California and Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
Art is survived by his wife of almost 45 years, Patricia Chism Davis of Norman; Two Sons, Tad Davis and wife Cyndi of Ada, Jamie Davis and wife Amy of Ada, five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. One sister, Cheri and husband Allen Barker of Bishop California, Two brothers Danny Davis and wife Madge of Ardmore Alabama, Charlie Davis and wife Shelley of Los Angeles California, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Art is preceded in death by his parents, Chester “Chet” Davis and Elaine Tanksley Davis.
Arrangements are under the direction of Primrose Funeral Services.
