Beverly was a wonderful mother who was known to tell her children when they were teenagers “I can’t make you mad, you are choosing to be mad.”
She was an amazing cook who made the best Chocolate Mousse, French Onion Soup and Beef Wellington. Aunt Susan said it perfectly “Beverly was the “come on in” kind of person, open-minded, laugh till you cry and best friend you ever had.”
She was passionate about helping others and dedicated her life to working in the mental health field, she was a champion for children. She was brave and showed us how to live our last days, to the fullest.
It’s hard to put into words how much she will be missed, especially by her children; Keith, Jenny and Spencer.
She loved all of her grandchildren: Taylor, Ryan, Bradley, Renee, Isabella and Rebecca. A special thanks to Collin, Aubrey, Chanel, Chloe and Corwin to always making granny’s eyes light up and bringing a smile to her face.
Beverly leaves many friends behind; the life-long ones whom she grew up with in Stillwater, those she loved in McAlester and her knock-around, go out to eat, shop till you drop friends in Norman.
Although our hearts are broken, we know she is reminiscing with family and friends who went before her, telling stories from the good ole days. Enjoy your peace Beverly, you earned it. Your love will shine forever bright!
