Thelma Mae Woods, 91, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021. She was born in Elizabeth City, NC to the late Arthur and Maybelle Todd. Thelma was a kind, loving, and patient woman. She was very laid back, easy going and always put others first. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, movies, puzzles, going to the beach, boating, crabbing and being in the sun. She greatly enjoyed taking care of her home and family. Thelma was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Meddie Eugene Woods, and her brother Robert Lee Todd.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Wayne Woods and his wife Sharon, Sharon Calhoun and her husband Stanley, and Mark Woods and his wife Sherry; sister-in-law, Emma Lee Todd; 5 grandchildren, Scott, Brad, Steve, Meredith, and Mariha; and 5 great grandchildren with one on the way.
