Stariyana resided in Norfolk, Virginia with her mother and graduated from Ocean Lakes High School. Stariyana knew The Lord from an early age. “Proverbs 22:6” God gifted Stariyana with many talents: playing the clarinet, trumpet, piano, reading music and learning the guitar. Her passion was writing songs and poems. Stariyana kept a journal of her writings and loved sharing a song with anyone. She would call you up and say, “Hey you want to hear a song I wrote?” She loved to write poetry and make short videos. She was a courageous and fearless human that would illuminate the way with her light and her words. Stariyana dreamed of being a writer one day and traveling the world. Stariyana will be loved and missed by all who has had the opportunity to love her and come into her path.
Stariyana leaves behind her “Father”, Myron L. Patterson, II and her “Mother”, Starshema N.
