My Dear cousin and friend. You will be truly missed. You were well loved by your family throughout the years. So many fond memories of your wisdom and contagious laugh. May God bless your loving wife Tina and your loved ones. I know you will be another  angel always looking over your little cousin. 

Billy, dear cousin I will always remember you.  I am so, so 😊 glad you have made heaven your home.  God is truly awesome and he knows when we have had enough.  Rest in peace .  Your family ❤️ in Maryland and  North Carolina loved
you and still do tremendously 😅!  God bless and strengthen Tina and family!!! 

I will miss you Sam when you worked at Oceana you would always blow your horn or stop by to say hello. You would drive by me cause I am the groundskeeper in charge of the softball fields so in order to get to your office you had to pass by the fields daily. The best part of it all is when football season was about to begin you would stop by and give  myself and Eddie a Redskins football schedule for the upcoming year. Even though Sam knew I was a Eagles fan I still accepted it and kept it close by. We would also talk noise about each other’s team when we saw each other. I missed you when you retired from the base and now hearing the news of your passing I have to root for your team as well especially for you Sam. 

Mr. Sam was a most sincere and loving neighbor of ours in Birdneck Lake for 15 years. He always had time for a kind word, a warm hug, a generous smile and many times..a thoughtful prayer. He shared his love of Jesus with everyone. Many days we would talk about God’s goodness and His grace that covered our lives. Sam was a man who possessed all of the fruits of the Spirit.. Love, Joy,Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control. And though Sam would say that he didn’t always have them as a young man, God was enough to make sure he had them as an older gentleman. Sam prayed for me when I was pregnant with my son Landin, when I had surgeries , when I was happy and sad. Sam and Tina always treated our family like their family and made great friends to both my husband and me. When our son, now 12 years  old heard that Mr. Sam was now in heaven, he cried tears of sadness for missing him and for Mr. Sam’s family. Our son Landin said that he looks forward to seeing him again when we get to our Father’s house in Heaven, knowing that he will be there waiting for us. Same was an angel on earth, called home to the Father all to soon. we love and miss you dear Sam. Comfort to Tina and their family. He is truly loved and miss by everyone who knew him. 

I met Sam at work in 2008 and we became friends instantly. Whenever I was upset about something, I would go and speak to Sam. He was so encouraging and positive. I was shocked when I heard he passed away, but I know he is definitely in Heaven. 

I’m deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Sam. I remember Sam from high school. We would often discuss the good-old-days at class reunions. He was a great guy with an amazing sense of humor. 

I had the pleasure to work with Sam at CACI a long time ago.  we became life long friends.   he was so wise and so sweet.  until I see you again, I love you Sam.

You were my oasis. I was blessed to have you as my cousin and big brother. I will always remember you saying “ If I can do this— you can too.”. Your encouragement through the years got me through some dark days . You and Tina were always welcoming to me and my family.  My deepest sympathy goes to Tina, Sandra and your family. My greatest joy comes from knowing you knew and profess Jesus and this is just see you later.

For over 40 years we have had a friendship and that friendship turned into family.  Sam helped us with our kids and he was never to busy to assist us when needed.  He was  full of humor and a die hard Redskin fan.  Our families would visit each other quite often; entertained together and just enjoyed each other's company. Sam will be sadly missed and this family has nothing but love for him. Rest in Peace Samuel; will see you on the other side.     

I met Mr. Warren through my parents, Morris and Pauline Freelon, who are very good friends of Mr. and Mrs. Warren.  He was like an uncle to me.  I graduated from HS in 1985 and Mr. Warren moved me from home to dorm, to every apartment, and my first house. He was hilarious and loved the Washington Redskins!!  I on the other hand love the Dallas Cowboys so you can imagine the banter between us!  I will miss Mr. Warren at Thanksgiving and Christmas this year as they would come to my parents' house for dinner on one of those occasions.  Mr. Warren, it was an honor and a pleasure knowing you on this side of heaven.  We will see each other again!  My condolences to Mrs. Warren and his Family. 

It was always a pleasure to work with Sam at Woodlawn. He was a kind man. Condolences to You Tina.

I met Sam in 2008 and worked with him until he retired.  What a great guy and he was truly missed after retirement.  He loved those Redskins! My thoughts and prayers are with his wife Tina and family.  I am so sorry for your loss.

Sam was my next door neighbor at Birdneck Lake for over a decade. And in that time he became my friends . We moved away 3 year ago but we stayed in touch thru phone calls and  visits. Over the years we had many conversations. I always looked forward to seeing and visiting with him, As we would share the latest going on’s, family, life and faith. I cried when I heard the news! Sam my neighbor who became my friend! My brother in Christ, I will miss you but I will see you again in heaven and we will pick up we’re we left off.  Love you Sam! My sincere condolences to Tina and the family! He was a wonderful human being!!

I met Sam in 1989 when I started working at the Supply Department for Don. Sam was the metal trades union steward and he taught me so much about things. He also told me about his cleaning business. I was so proud of him and just loved him. We stayed in touch and he called me the Queen and I called him the King. He has his wings now. Well deserved. He was so awesome and my heart and deepest sympathy to Tina, Sandra and family.
