Rogelio Alumpe Fulinara

Rogelio Alumpe Fulinara, Sr., a retired Chief Petty Officer Engine Mechanic and resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the age of 82. He was born on May 29, 1942 in San Felipe, Zambales, Philippines. He enlisted into the United States Navy on September 8, 1967. He served 20 years before retiring in November of 1987. He is survived by his wife of 57 years; his sons Rogelio Jr. (Heidi) and Rommel (Darlene); grandchildren Lindsay (Joshua), Damian, Noah, Zoie, Breana, Ean, and Cayden; great grandchildren River, Weston, and Evangelyn; and many other family and friends. A visitation for Rogelio will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 5345 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
