Robert Franklin “Bobby” Apperson, Jr., 47, passed away suddenly on November 24, 2007. Born February 24, 1960, he was the son of Robert F. Apperson, Sr. and Charlotte D. Apperson. Bobby, as he was affectionately known to his family, is survived by his parents; two daughters, Melissa S. Erhardt and her husband, Ryan of Arizona, and Priscilla Howton and her husband, Brian, of Chesapeake, VA; three grandchildren, Brian, Kirsten, and Kayden; and one sister, Robin A. Nipper. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk. A 1:00 pm funeral service with Rev. Reginald Burgess officiating will be held Thursday, November 29, at the funeral home.
