Patty Kight Johnson

Patty Kight Johnson, 86, passed away in Virginia Beach on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Patty was born in Columbia, NC to the late Johnie and Daisy Kight. Patty was also predeceased by her husband, Gary Lee Johnson; brother, Billy Kight; grandson, Corey Warren as well as her great grandson, Hayden Warren. Patty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved going on sea cruises and spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time she loved gaming and bingo. Patty is cherished in memory by her life partner, Edward “Gene” Ambrose; daughters, Lydia Gourlay, Lynn Fennell, Joy Craft and a son, Edward “Bud” Ambrose, Jr.; grandchildren, Ian, Cary, Randy, Destiny, Christopher, Sherry, Drayton, Braxton, and Dakota as well as a great grandson, Dawson Warren. There will be a graveside service set for 2pm, Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
