VIRGINIA BEACH Mary E. Simpson of the 400 block of Beacon Hill Circle passed away December 24, 2009.
Mrs. Simpson was predeceased by her parents mother Marie Panter and father Adolph Corbe. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Clel Simpson and daughter Ilsa Simpson. She came to Norfolk from Bakersfield, CA while serving in the United States Navy. She enjoyed volunteering in the library at Chesterfield Elementary School. She enjoyed being a member of the American Needlepoint Guild and Explore Health. Memorial donations can be made to your local SPCA
A memorial service will be held Wednesday December 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, 23502 Condolences may be offered to the family on-line at www.woodlawngroup.com.
