Lee G. Robison departed this life and went to be with the Lord on January 26th, 2024 at the age of 74. He was born on January 8, 1950. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and attended Norfolk State University. He worked as a pipefitter for 30+ years at Huntington Ingalls (formerly known as Newport News Shipyard) with several accomplishments along the way. He is a veteran of the U.S Army. He was a diehard Washington Redskin/Commander fan. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, Alice Brown; father, Jessie C. Brown; two sisters, Magurtha Bishop and Alice Freeman. He leaves behind to cherish his memories are his son, Lee Grant Tunstall; daughters, Leah Lloyd, Unitra Laville, Alethia Turner; step-daughter, Hope Williams; step-sons, Pharaoh Williams and David Williams, two sisters, Callie Goodwyn, Priscilla Taylor, and an extended sister, Patricia Swain; two brothers, Joseph Robinson and Jessie Brown; wife, Ann Beale Robison; several grand-children as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Do not cry for me. I am going to a better place which the Lord has prepared for me. There will be no more pain, sorrow or tears and if I happen to shed a tear, it will be a tear of happiness for seeing all of my friends and family that went before me.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 10:30am, Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Immediately following the service burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with US Army honors to be rendered. The family invites friends and family to a repass to fellowship and share memories at the Woodlawn Funeral Home reception hall.
