Laura Lee Bradley

Laura Lee Bradley 78, passed away November 23, 2016, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in Norfolk, VA to the late John C. Bramble Jr and Laura B. Harrell. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George E. (Pete) Matroni and Johnnie E. Bradley, and brother Lester B. Bramble. Laura was a member of Thalia U.M.C. serving as an Office Angel and was an active member of the Ties That Bind Ladies Ministry where she made crafts to bless the lives of others. She owned and operated Laura Lee School of Dance Studio in Suffolk, VA, in the 1970’s. Laura retired from the Virginia Beach School System with 15 years of service.

Laura leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, LeeAnn Matroni, Karen L. Kiel (Randy) and Susan K. Johnson (Doug); Johnnie’s children, Donald Bradley, Deborah Bradley, Alesia Rediger (Steve) and Jackie Jarvis; brother, John W. (Jack) Bramble (Patricia). She was the proud grandmother, great grandmother and aunt of many little blessings.

Laura’s funeral service will be held on Monday, November 28 at 1 PM at Thalia U.M.C. with Rev. Joe Varner and Rev. J. Randall Kiel officiating. The visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Woodlawn Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
