Judith Ethel Short, 82, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Judith was borJudith Ethel Short, 82, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Judith was born in Delaware to the late Walter and Margaret Cauffman Taney. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Kenneth. She loved shopping, watching TV shows (especially her soaps), collecting movies and books, and anything Egyptian or Native American. Judith would always be seen with her pets “Bridget” and “Melley” prior to them passing away, wherever she went.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Kenneth and daughter-in-law Vera-Allison (Lisa), and her grandchildren Connor and Hannah Short.

Judith will be laid to rest beside her husband following a graveside service at Henlopen Memorial Park, 28787 Lockerman Rd, Milton, Delaware on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 12 noon.
